Review on 📟 Robust Full Metal 8-Bay 2.5" SAS/SATA SSD & HDD (7mm) Backplane Cage by ICY DOCK - Ideal for External 5.25" Bay by Julio Black

It's amazing how well this thing is built, how tightly it can be packed into an SSD. I'm using it on a mobile workstation for an SSD RAID (there are no moving parts to push around when dragging it between locations) so the only downside to this unit is that it's HEAVY. I read the specs before purchasing but it was still amazing. Otherwise a great, totally unique product as far as I can tell. And the fans seem to be a standard form factor, so I'm going to replace them with some Noctuas to make it even quieter (the stock fans aren't that loud, I'm just tweaking). My only criticism is that I wish it had lockable doors. , but that might not even be possible given how small the trays are.
