First of all I am always skeptical when buying a monitor or TV and need to see the product PERSONALLY before buying displays because I am a snob about picture quality and color smoothness not only for PC gaming but also for entertainment and work. Goals. I bought it in the Revain Prime Sale, so I got a hell of a discount, almost 50%. This is a newer model of these gaming monitors so you don't need to look for the latest product (as of July 2021). Even if you buy this monitor at MSRP, you get what you pay for. I was amazed by the pixel quality and refresh rate when I connected it to my 3090. Before I used the Samsung Odyssey curved gaming monitor, it also had excellent image quality, but the difference is very noticeable. I think Samsung focuses more on blues, while this monitor focuses on warmer colors like yellow, red, and brown. The white and black tones are very well optimized, making choosing the brightness level for your games much easier. You no longer have to turn up the brightness because you can't see anything. The HDR10 on this one is some of the best HDR quality I've seen on a gaming monitor, aside from another high-end Samsung Odyssey my brother owns. Note, however, that the Samsung monitor is around $1,100 and you can get roughly the same quality for $800 less on this LG monitor. Be sure to change the refresh rate in the settings to get the best quality from this monitor. The rest is up to you :)
