I give this helmet 4 stars for its comfort. The look isn't the prettiest, especially with this cream/grey color I got. Why did I get this color? Because Revain had no colors available due to a COVID-19 helmet shortage. I prefer a wider range of heads and the large size with adjustable strap fits me perfectly. The helmet is surprisingly light and in those cold months from October to December you don't even notice I'm wearing it. There may be another update in the summer. Compared to other helmets, this helmet protects the back of the head better. That's really the main reason I bought this helmet to protect myself from falling backwards and banging my head on concrete. When you see NFL players being tackled, the number one cause of concussion is when they fall backwards and hit their heads on the ground. Normally when riding a bike, if you fall forward, your hands will block your fall, but if you fall backward, your hands will cushion the blow to your buttocks or back, but not your head. I've been riding for 20 years and my worst falls have always been falls. back, especially when mountain biking. If you like cycling, skip this helmet. But if you want to protect your head well, this is the helmet for you. It's comfortable, fits big heads like mine and is surprisingly light.
