Review on 🌿 Dye-Free, Biodegradable Paper Straws - 200 Pack, Individually Wrapped - Eco-friendly, Plasticless Straws made from White Kraft - 7 3/4 inches by Mike Schmidt

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Holds up well, hopefully better for the environment

I bought these straws here at Revain because of their relatively high rating. I go through a TON of disposable straws and am not really a fan of reusable straws considering they are pretty hard to clean and taste awful when dirty. My eyesight isn't the best and my reusable straws are all green; this makes it hard for me to see the "obvious" contamination. Despite this, these paper straws were of very high quality. I've seen a number of reviews stating that paper straws don't last very long and that you have to drink relatively quickly to keep the straw from spoiling. The only problem I had with these straws is that the straw opening gets pinched in the cup, which sometimes compresses the straw and makes it difficult to use. I have not yet experienced the crumbling straw in my drink or the "taste" of paper due to the straw crumbling. My drinks often last for several (6-8) hours so I'm very glad these straws lasted. I've even frozen these straws in drinks (long story) and have had no issues thawing other than discoloration. These straws seem to work equally well for both Frappuccino drinks and "regular" drinks, although I haven't tried them with soda/soda. I definitely recommend trying them out if you're looking for a durable paper straw.
