I had the same problems as most other people with negative comments. This camera didn't even charge the first time after first use. I bought this camera as a small, easy to use camera when I didn't want to lug around a Nikon D3100 to snap a few shots on a short trip. Unfortunately I bought the camera in February, took a few shots, was very satisfied, then my wife took it on vacation in July and it never charged. After reading the comments of others who had the same problem, I can't believe the company. For example, Nikon would not recall this camera and either replace it or replace it with a different model. Live and learn short folks and (bitterly) this camera sucks!
