I ordered this to fit a 55 inch Samsung QLED (QN55Q70RAFXZA) which weighs about 41lbs and is on the edge of what this stand should handle and it handled it with no issues. My "entertainment center" is just a bookshelf that's only 36 inches wide, and since floor-standing TV mounts are rare these days, this was my best bet. In fact I like it a lot better than my last TV (43″) which was on a stand and I find it more stable than the previous one. It took about 30 minutes to assemble and attach to the TV and I love the way it looks with the glass base. It comes with four rubber feet, but I chose not to use them, opting instead to attach it to my bookshelf with two strips of heavy-duty Velcro cut from the roll B00006RSP1 VELCRO Industrial Strength Brand Hook and Loop Fasteners. rotates from left to right, the movement is very smooth and comfortable. I also have a Samsung 3D Blu-ray Smart Player (BD-J7500), and the space between the stand and the TV is perfect for connecting this unit to the TV to connect the middle position as seen on the images provided. The only tool required which was not supplied is a flathead screwdriver and this is important, take/use a very large screwdriver to attach the TV to the vertical swivel mount. The screws that hold this swivel bracket in place are wide slots and need to be tightened with a lot of force, especially on a TV of this size, or the TV will swing down on its own. This is the only negative of the review as the product description makes it appear that vertical rotation is a smooth and always available option like horizontal rotation but it is not. You have to loosen these screws to adjust it vertically, I suggest just right and tighten the first time and leave. Overall a great TV stand, I would definitely buy again.
