I've been using a pair of Sony MDR-7506 headphones exclusively at my desk at work for a couple of years. Recently, the original ear pads on them started ripping to reveal some of the foam underneath. I looked at a couple well-reviewed brands on ebay before settling for this one, and the turquoise matching the "Professional" label on the headphones looks way better than I imagined. The pads are comfy, *maybe* slightly roomier than the stock ones, and I prefer the smooth faux leather feel over the wrinkled, thinner faux leather type thing that the MDR-7506 comes with. Some people say the headphones sound better with some aftermarket pads. This may or may not be true. I didn't compare the stock and aftermarket pads side by side. But I can say that the overall experience is better because of the feel on my skin, and (I think) better sound isolation that these provide.
