I received two microphones as expected. When trying it out, I noticed that you have to turn up the volume to hear it. The on-off switch (which is why I bought this particular mic) proved difficult to turn on or off all the way; but what can you expect from such a cheap microphone? The cable was a bonus, but unfortunately the audio outputs were three prongs rather than a single plug.
