You only need 200 bulbs for a 7 foot tall Christmas tree
If you are lighting a 6 foot to 8 foot tall Christmas tree you only need 200 lights. I made the mistake of looking online 2 years ago when they said you needed 100 per foot and let me stuff the coiled bulbs up my tree. So I didn't repeat that mistake. By the 200th thread I was able to go all the way up and once and then back down. The lights are great, just wish there was a warm white flicker setting without adding color.
