I didn't buy that before. (They look exactly the same, though.) The old ones had a motion sensor that would flash a red light and then turn off. These devices have a constant red flashing light, there is no motion sensor, you cannot turn off the light until you remove the battery. Also, these devices aren't easy to install, the tiny screws have to be perfect and you're basically hanging them blindly without seeing the mounting holes. OLD blocks had a paper template for marking screw holes, which is very important for installation. These blocks DO NOT come with a mounting template so hanging them up is almost impossible if you have to guess where to put the screws. I will make my own template before hanging and using without batteries. They say the flashing red light gives away the fake camera anyway.
