In my opinion, this drawer is complete junk. If made to hold and carry wine bottles, it was very poorly constructed, actually falling apart on its own in the mailer box. The box was intact and undamaged, but a few pieces had fallen off this wooden box. Also, the bottom pieces are simply nailed to the bottom of the drawer with very small finishing nails. So if you pack a significant weight in a box and lift it - well, let's say. maybe 6 full wine bottles - the bottom just falls out with your precious wine. This box is for beauty only and is not safe or inconvenient to store, especially for carrying wine. If you just need it for beauty, for flowers, or for some other decoration, fine; but keep in mind that this is just a practical use.
