I USE THESE AND THE LARGER WHEN I RESTORE A VEHICLE I WORK ON. THIS IS WITHOUT A DOUBT THE BEST THING YOU CAN BUY! THE CHEAPER CLAMPS I HAVE TRYED ARE ONLY REMOVED WHEN I TRY TO TIGHTEN THEM.

Uses these on new oil cooler power steering return lines. There were problems with the complete sealing of the "worm gear" type. They apply an even 360º pressure around the hose to ensure a complete seal!

Very good for replacing sections of corroded fuel lines and vapor return lines that require a combination fuel injection hose and flared nibble line. The socket wire ends with double clamps (pair) on each end, no leakage.

High quality stainless steel clips. Just note that 3/8 inch is the width of the strap, NOT the diameter. They are suitable for max. 5/8 inch. hose OD I wasn't paying attention when ordering, but that was my fault. Fortunately, I also needed this size for another project.

I have a Napa gas hose with fuel injectors printed on the skin. Some barely fit in, some didn't. I can't imagine they would fit regular 3/8" hose as they will NOT fit 1/2" OD as advertised. I love brackets but they are useless to me. waste of money.

They will fit a Gates 3/8" transmission coolant hose when fully open. No problem. Uh, edited. They will fit the hose, but if you have the hose on a steel pipe (like my power steering pump I tried today got).) is a bear for closing. You can't start the screw if you let it come out of the thread. Half an hour or more of struggling with this, the screw finally started with the edge of the clamp on the edge of the hose.

I just added a transmission cooler and power steering cooler to my jeep. I did this particular upgrade on three jeeps. I used Gates 3/8 inch transmission hose rated at 400psi. These 3/8 inch stainless steel clamps work well although they are tight. So they definitely won't fit a larger hose, but are perfect for 11/32" or 3/8". I bought these clamps after buying another pack of 10 clamps that claimed they were "stainless steel" when they weren't. Revain has since made corrections to the falsely advertised clamps sold by Autokay. Nonetheless, these clamps worked great for installing an additional transmission cooler on a Jeep Wrangler TJ.
