Review on 🔧 Enhance Engine Performance with Standard Motor Products V371 PCV Valve by Carlos Reyes

PCV replacement for a 2002 Mazda Tribute V6 3.0 with 60 miles In the videos you unhooked the wires but I just needed the accordion air hose remove and cover the air cleaner to gain access to the engine from the driver's side, then carefully remove the flex hose from the last hose/jacket covering the PCV. I then used needle nose pliers to gently peel off the hose/housing that was over the PCV (light but steady pressure was all that was required to remove the last hose/housing) and the old PCV to grab once I removed it from the spot. that comes from the engine. The hose/housing rests on a blue rag in one of the photos I shared. I was able to attach a small flashlight (one of the free Harbor Freight ones) to the radiator hose so I could see the area/hole. In the photos I took you can see that the lighting is in place. I also heard that I used a 3/4" 12 point head trick to turn left to remove the PCV and used a piece of disposable blue paper towel to tuck the new PCV valve in of the socket to keep it secure as I put it back into the engine and carefully turned clockwise to land it. Worked great! and install PCV. I used a ratchet to carefully remove the PCV (vs clockwise).The part looked the same and installed without any problems. Good luck!
