Proven protein brush only without straightener

First of all, the instructions are not very clear. It says apply the Protein Brush Serum to clean, dry hair and leave it on for 40 minutes, then "rinse out 50% of your hair". I assume they wanted to wash off 50% of the product, not just half of the hair on my head. I'm not thrilled with the idea of leaving that much product on my hair, but I agreed. The product is light, smells nice, doesn't feel rough or greasy. I washed off half the product and my hair felt great under the running water. Then it was time to blow dry and then straighten the hair with an iron. I let my gray hair grow, so my hair texture has changed over time. I stopped using my flat iron for this reason (and the excessive heat damage). So I blow-dried my hair using the Dyson Airwrap's hottest setting and a straightener. I didn't use heat protection spray as usual. RESULTS: I expected my hair to look incredibly sleek and sleek. It ended up looking the same as it always did when I blow dried it, maybe a little smoother than usual. But I can achieve this effect by simply spraying on a straightening spray. The main downside is that the excess product I didn't rinse out made my bangs roots greasy and I want to wash my hair even though I've just spent 15 minutes blow drying. (*Dry shampoo helped a bit*). But the rest of the hair feels well-groomed, looks cute and well-groomed, and does not fly away. I didn't get a chance to test the shampoo and conditioner but they are said to help keep my hair smooth. mixed feelings. I think the product might be too expensive to use as part of my regular hair care routine, especially since I don't use a straightener. I think it would be more beneficial for women who straighten their hair all the time. But for blow drying it left me with a decent but not significantly smoother blowout.
