Just received this and tried it on good quality paper (trying to test on good paper before judging the pen). I had high hopes for a decent brush pen at this price point. Unfortunately there aren't any. Subtle: The colors are not too confusing. The metallic effect is actually there, not shiny. Worry less: I know how to do calligraphy with a brush. These don't work for this. The nibs don't apply the ink evenly, and one pen even came out of the box with a broken nib. The white pen doesn't work. Surprisingly, it's easier to see how little white ink there is on white paper than on a dark background. Speaking of which, I haven't used them for ten minutes and the room is already filled with a horrible smell. I have a headache now. My kitten was very playful and now it has stopped and looks a bit sick. Now I will lie down and air the room. I won't even return them if the company tries to ship them to someone else.
