Review on NuWallpaper NUS3144 Breezy Stick Wallpaper by Aaron Johnson

Pretty to look at, a bit tricky to apply

After reading some of the reviews I was a bit concerned about adhesion and pattern matching. Also, I've never used wallpaper like this before. I've been wallpapering my houses for 40 years. With this product, there is no wet mess or glue leaking out of the seams that needs to be wiped clean. A plus. However, the ability to slide across the paper and stretch the more traditional paper is lost. Negative. This makes pattern matching a bit more difficult. The adhesion is so good that you cannot slide on it. They must be picked up before you push against the wall. However, some discomfort may be greater due to the preparation of the walls and the nature of the product. Whatever paper you use, the condition of your wall matters. A smooth, clean wall is best for adhesion. Second, a wall that isn't quite square and smooth will have trouble fitting. It's something nice with the pre-taped ones. Give and move when you're on the wall. It gets lost in this type of paper. The problem of paper folding itself is the problem of wallpapering when the piece is large and you do it alone. But with such good adhesion and slip resistance, it is very difficult to peel off when folded. Also, "bubbles" are harder to smooth out. I have an old house with imperfect walls but well prepared walls. I ordered two rolls based on the old wall's dimensions but forgot I added inches to level the wall. I was a bit small and needed to cut and the pattern was easy enough to put together. Not perfect, but I'm the only one who knows where to start. Overall I can't say it's better or worse than pre-paste, but definitely different.
