Electronic whistle and clicker will do the trick.
I work as a nanny/dog walker and provide training where needed. I had to replace my original electronic whistle after losing mine on Sunday when it fell out of my back pocket and was hit by a car. This whistle is exactly the same as my old one and works just as well. (Although this kit didn't have a 9 volt battery like my other one.) The clicker also works well with the dog I'm currently working with. I haven't tried a hand whistle yet because I like the consistency of pitch and tone of an electric whistle during practice. I plan to get another one of these sets as a backup. Good stuff, good tools.
