I wanted to solve the fresh tab problem that a lot of people are talking about. When I ordered them I used them in my rice storage jars. I fill it with rice, then add an oxygen scavenger and tighten the lid. Later that day, I heard the glasses "crack!" one by one. Sound. It was the sound of the lid being sucked into the can. To me this is proof that these oxygen scavengers are fresh and working in case anyone has any doubts. I would have no hesitation in ordering this product again as it takes the oxygen from my cans very well.
