I can't seem to find a thin walled mug and this one was more expensive than I thought. Everything is fine, it's not a defect in itself, but the grip isn't pleasant to the touch either. It's not exactly "hot"; that is, the edges are flat, but for the size and resulting weight of a full mug, it's uncomfortable to hold. A few years ago I was gifted some smaller mugs and then the company (?) stopped making them and the shop that sold them went out of business. They had great handles - like a solid tube (not hollow) and a nicer shape. Shown at left is a Sun Tea mug; my old wonderful is on the right side. The last of the set so I need a spare! Every glass mug company seems to use thick glass and assume you're drinking beer. Well, to me, drinking from a thick glass makes me feel like a kindergartener. I want the finesse of a wine glass with a solid base and a massive rounded handle! It's done, it can't be that difficult - why isn't there anything on the market?
