I got this blanket when I was getting hot flashes. I bought all the bamboo I could find. I have many bamboo items and none of them have washing and drying instructions like this item. But believe me, it's getting less. First I put it in the dryer on the lowest setting and it shrunk. It no longer covers the entire queen bed. I really don't understand how they expect you to wash and dry this when you can't put it in the dryer or hang it in the sun, it's just crazy. It's light, I really can't say it's cooler than anything because if you're having a hot flash then no blanket is suitable. Luckily I didn't have those hot flashes anymore, my doctor thinks it's an accident haha! But I'm ready for next time.
