It's really small if you don't see it in the pictures. Works while charging, which is very convenient. Connected to my Android phone with no problems. Most likely I'll order another one sooner or later so I don't have to move it from one device to another. This one is basically hooked up to my big late 90's honking stereo and sounds great. I have a quarter inch to quarter inch adapter that I use to connect some devices such as B. a good old set of Boston Acoustics computer speakers. Just make sure you have everything you need to connect. The 1/4" plug is permanently attached to the device and the only adapter included is a 1/4" jack to stereo phono plug. If you need a different connection you'll have to find one elsewhere, just make sure it's a quarter-inch adapter (whatever you need to connect your device) and that should work fine for you.
