This oversized wearable quilted sweatshirt is affordable yet warm. So my family was addicted to hoodies last year. They look like giant sweaters, fleece sweatshirts. Most of them, like this one, have a Sherpa lining. They are all very long so you can tuck your legs into the hoodie while sitting. They have wide, ribbed knit cuffs to keep cold air off your hands. They also usually have a large pocket or two for your phone, tissues, remote control or even a small pet! They'll keep you warm, as we found out this year when a terrible Texas ice storm left us without power for a week in sub-zero temperatures. I don't know how we would have managed to stay warm without hoodies. This particular item is good value - almost half the price of most others. When it arrived I understood why. The blanket fleece on the outside has a noticeably shorter pile, and the faux Sherpa lining is also shorter and less dense than most. Otherwise the cut and style are the same as other blanket sweatshirts. It has a large kangaroo-style pocket on the front that offers plenty of space. Despite the thinner materials, it's still quite warm and cozy. I think they'll be just as warm as the thicker, more expensive ones if you wear a flannel or padded top and bottom underneath. And the price is so cheap that I am giving this one 4 stars because it will definitely keep you warm and you can afford to buy one for the whole family.
