I was recently approached by a leading television company to conduct an interview in my studio using a large candy bar-like tablet (Cisco DX70-08). The manufacturer had to set the device in different positions for different angles. Instead of mounting a heavy 14-inch tablet PC on a bulky fixed platform or in a cabinet, the Mount-It stand seemed like the perfect choice. It's now much easier to move your PC to different positions with this stand. It was easy and only took about half an hour. The stand seems fairly stable, but if you're propping a camera device on it, be careful not to hit it as it will wobble a bit, by strong I was never concerned the device wouldn't handle the load of a DX70 PC , but it handles it just fine. You can attach a beamer, camera or PC/laptop to it. Another plus point are the raised edges, which prevent your equipment from slipping off in the event of a tipping over. durable and made of thick metal. I wish the stand had quick release buckles for easy raising and lowering of the mast. In either case, you must fully unscrew the two bolts from the mast to raise or lower the mast. I also wish the loser's platform could be raised or lowered. Be that as it may, you "have toβ be seated when working with a projection, with a laptop. I think it would be possible to fit another laptop tray on the platform above. I like the ability to tilt the top platform 30 degrees. The locking wheels are also positive. Great when shooting videos with a stand or positioning the projector. I like that the mast can be raised just enough to easily project to a seated or standing audience. This stand is also great if you're in a location where you can't mount projectors on the ceiling as it has a relatively small footprint. I just wish this thing could be rolled up easily. It's fairly small when the mast is down, however, and is light enough to carry and load into a vehicle, yet heavy enough that it won't tip over unless you overload the stand.
