After installing and connecting 2 identical 1TB Crucial SSDs, it worked once. I ran it in PM mode (single drives). I formatted and rebooted a drive. My laptop is frozen. Then it doesn't boot when the thing is plugged in, the adapter reboots. It looks like it takes some extra power when running two SSDs. I used an extra USB power cable, otherwise Windows told me there was a power surge and the USB bus was unable to power this device. But even with the power cord it only worked intermittently and other times it wouldn't start or freeze my computer. To return. I also have an SSD adapter and it has worked great for me for months, nothing like that.
