I bought them for shower slippers. Not for everyday shoes. For shower shoes they are fantastic! Water drains instead of pooling between the boot and foot. In terms of sizing, I wear size 7.5-8 women's shoes and size 7 Under Armor flip flops in almost every athletic shoe I buy. I bought these in size 8-9 and they were the right size. I will say that they are loose on the bridge and can easily come off if you are not used to going on slides. I wouldn't wear them all day because it's not her design and to be honest I don't want to be seen wearing them outside of the dressing room. They are more comfortable than I expected based on the reviews. I found them quite comfortable and a bit soft to be honest.
