Review on Kaytee Along Carrier Assorted Colors Dogs by Denise Hansen

We have the carrier received which does not match the picture. This is the Kaytee Come Along Carrier listed for $10.95 (we paid $23 for the carrier pictured). It's about 20% smaller than the one pictured (not big enough for my two small dogs), with only one window and tacky zippers. Return label but before I could find the box and do my best to return an item I didn't order and overpaid for, the carrier got wet. Water has stained the doors on both sides. I feel like I should leave it because of that. It's my fault for leaving it outside where it got wet (during the first rain of the year) but I'll be returning it anyway as someone is replacing what people have actually ordered, due to a poor quality (and much cheaper) product that you shouldn't get away with plus, I have to buy another carrier. --------------------------------- ------- ---------- ------- We have been using this carrier for several years (the picture shown now is the one we have - a large, patterned red, yellow and green, with two windows on the sides, one of the two Doors opens flush and a handle). We use it for two 7 lb chihuahuas that can lie down or stand comfortably with a thick towel on the floor. The zippers began to fall apart after about five years, although they could be refastened. But today, after eight years of using the stretcher, one of the zipper heads came loose, so it's over. Dogs have also ripped through the vinyl over the years, although the boards and window bars are intact and they've never managed to escape. We just removed the torn vinyl that was inside. We won't leave them there long, but it can be done. One day we were at the cabin when a violent storm came up and knocked down the huge trees around our cabin. We had to run to the lodge in the rain with the dogs in the carrier and then leave them there all night because the power was out and everyone had to gather in the main room. The dogs were fine, not even whimpering. The cover has a fairly large open pocket on the outside of one of the doors for us to store linen and food. Some people seem to have had issues with this carrier, but for my purposes it's well worth the money. Glad to see it on Revain and with Prime!
