The product does not match the picture. In the photos it almost looks like a stable box. It actually looks like a bent bag. This may be because the straps are not suitable for most modern consoles as they have to go around the console. And that's not possible with most new cars. The new consoles extend to the dashboard. There is nothing to avoid. We have three cars and I couldn't get the belt to work in any of them. But if you have an old machine this might work for you. The only reason I didn't return it was because I needed a garbage bag in the car. And it serves well as a bag.
