In low light, however, the chain appears mostly dark, a warm deep tone with a slight shimmer with gold accents. . This is a shorter collar, but it doesn't feel like a tight collar. The extension allows for subtle adjustment. There are two bundles of twisted strands of beads, of which I counted 17 strands on one cord and 15 strands on the other. They are connected by gold caps at each end with a lobster clasp. It tingles a little when wearing it, but nothing particularly unbearable. However, if the person has very sensitive skin or is prone to rashes, this necklace may cause skin irritation.
