Banned Videos and Customer Service - UPDATED REVIEW!

Initial rating: 1) Video quality is normal 2) Unfortunately, the camera blocks most of the video files, which means they are not automatically overwritten; As a result, a 32GB SD drive fills up in a few hours. The only solution is to periodically eject the drive and delete the files manually. (solved, see below) 3) Emails to the seller regarding the above issue went unanswered. (solved, see below) 4) The camera mount is bulky and the large knobs hit me on the backs of my legs when mounting to the seatpost. (fixed, see below==============================Updated: I originally gave this camera only one star because that, as mentioned above it blocked most of the video files which prevented them from being automatically overwritten (photo) Unfortunately my emails to the seller regarding the issue went unanswered which was frustrating however this turned out to be the best Way to contact is the seller is through their page in facebook ie don't use email!Once we connected they were very responsive and quickly provided an easy to install firmware update/patch that solved the file locking issue without that a mounting system was required. Because my road bike's top tube has a slight rake, that leaves only about 8" of seatpost to mount the camera to the back of the leg while pedaling. Fortunately, the hardware turns out to be 10-32 SAE ( English thread) i St. So it's easy to change (at least in the US). The idea was to replace the stock thumbscrew with a ¾” 10-32 cap screw (photo). Note that this may or may not be an issue depending on the frame design. For example, my gravel bike has a compact frame with a sharper top tube slope that allows the light to be mounted lower on a longer seatpost, giving ample clearance. My main interest in this device is 1) tail light; and 2) to record/document interactions with motorists while driving on the road, so I'm not interested in using the real-time rear view camera feature. At the moment, however, I'm quite happy with TEENTOK. Compared to the original 1st gen Fly6 camera and light combo I've been using for the past few years (which recently passed away), this camera has better video quality and the settings can be adjusted via the app. I haven't tried the latest 3rd gen HD Fly6 but the TEENTOK camera/light at less than half the price is a great value. I hope to be able to use it for at least a few years.
