Less than expected but a 3 year old started biting off pieces at 2 weeks maybe 15 minutes a day. I would recommend Baby Einstein Stack & Teete Multi-Textured Easy-to-Grasp Toy Set of 5 Teething Pieces It took a year to bite off 1 stack and he loves playing with it.
