Overall very well made with a moderate flaw. The white tips on my doorstops are pretty solid. So when a doorstop makes contact, it causes: - the door contact to stop abruptly - makes a moderate contact noise (louder than similar doorstops with a softer tip or mechanism) - tends to push the door back in the closing direction - the contact creates an impulse , which transmits the vibration back through the door. (also heard sometimes) Not sure if this is an issue caused by sitting on a shelf for a long time with a specific batch, if this is a material replacement issue, or if this is by design. Hardness may even be desirable for some. Not me.
