Took on a recent hike and the sound quality was fantastic. It charges phones, but slowly, but at least charges them when needed. The ease of use on this device was really great. Even the kids enjoyed listening to the many old CDs we had. Easily connects to any Bluetooth device we've connected it to. We were even able to connect and play while watching some movies and shows. It's very cool to have a feature like this on the radio. Even when we were in the mountains we had a really good signal and could pick up several different radio stations. Fits in our trailer with no problems. I love the handle as it is easy to carry. Now we only use it at home, in the garage and even on the street.
