I've had laser printers since they were invented and this is the first inkjet printer I've ever owned. I'm very impressed and considering this is an office machine and I'm just a person who prints a few pages a week, this printer might outlive me. This printer prints color pages and copies black and white in seconds. Now my ex-wife has an HP color laser printer that's about four years old and I don't think the colors on that printer are as rich and vivid as my ex's HP, but I don't care. In addition, this device also copies and scans. Also, I struggled to buy this very "Canon HR-101 High Resolution Paper for Bubble Jet Printers". I will only feed this printer the types of paper recommended by Canon. However, I am having trouble with the installation process and instructions. I think the installation instructions could have been clearer and more precisely documented. You don't even have a "quick setup" in one document, you have two documents. I ended up setting up the device using just the on-screen instructions without installing any software specifically designed for this printer. (I have a Windows 10 computer). By simply using the prompts on the printer screen, I was able to connect to my wireless router, discover the printer on my computer, and start printing. The installation guide didn't tell me it was possible.
