Lifetime Laser Fan Fan Gets First Inkjet Printer

I've had laser printers since they were invented and this is the first inkjet printer I've ever owned. I'm very impressed and considering this is an office machine and I'm just a person who prints a few pages a week, this printer might outlive me. This printer prints color pages and copies black and white in seconds. Now my ex-wife has an HP color laser printer that's about four years old and I don't think the colors on that printer are as rich and vivid as my ex's HP, but I don't care. In…

The most unprofessional office/business printer

My Epson died after only 2 years and I was told it would cost more to replace the part than to buy a new one. I felt it wasn't sustainable and I needed a more reliable printer. I chose Canon because my travel Canon Pixma iP100 is still great after a decade. I chose the MB5420 for its fast printing, wireless capability and good color print/copy quality. It turned out to be unsatisfactory in every respect. I stupidly didn't open it until 30 days later and found I couldn't get it to print…

Disappointing MFP

This printer has a couple of major flaws that might make you think. The reviews were great. Not sure why. I would really like to return it and we are looking for a replacement but not sure if another all in one printer is much better. The scanner/copier has one serious drawback - it cuts off the top (or bottom - depending on the orientation) of the original. It seems to be a hardware problem. And the cropped text is not on the outside edge of the page. The printer claims to print through, but…

Home Office Must Have

Good, solid but inconspicuous color inkjet printer. In his defence, we knew we made compromises when we chose him. We needed a great photo printer, but what we really needed was a printer that could print photos well and also do homework like faxing, copying multiple documents, and printing multiple documents, which we do 90% of the time. The need for an integrated fax was the key that eliminated some of the other options, which would probably be better if pictures were the number 1 priority…

Best multifunction printer I have ever had

Use this model more than others I have owned Switched from the Epson 3640 series which was very cheap when bought. Over time, reviews of this car fell in parallel with my own experience. Ultimately, Epson handled the paper very poorly, with double-sided paper jams becoming the norm after around 900 pages. Likewise, the scanner's ADF jammed badly, and in general I realized that if there was a demand for duplex printing in our home, it was not worth spending more money on cartridges. Inkjet…
