Review on Motorcycle Stainless Toolbox R1200GS Adventure by John Souza

Revainrating 3 out of 5

No quality control but it works

The instructions were not very clear and the assembly was a big problem. Several hex bolts have been deformed and with 9 nuts from 3 different designs it is confusing. The only obvious nut was the one holding the door. The metal case surrounding the plastic case also tends to peel off until everything is assembled. I'm not sure about the durability of this device. I just drove 1,000 miles in my BMW GSA and took my first aid kit with me. It held up and kept the kit from getting wet during a 10 hour ride in the rain hence it's 3 stars for now. He'll be traveling to Canada and back in a week and if he survives I'll give him another star. But the original quality (or lack thereof) does not allow it to be 5 stars.

Pros
  • Looks good
Cons
  • Some small things
