If you want to improve the sound quality on a flat screen TV or need really powerful desktop speakers, these Pyle speakers will do for under $100. The sound quality is excellent, fairly linear throughout the 60-20kHz range and very pleasing to the ear. The built-in power amplifier means you don't need a separate power supply to get the best sound from your TV, and their output is much higher than traditional computer speakers. There's enough bass for normal use, but don't expect subwoofer-type sound pressure. However, for only 10-20% of the cost of a Bose system, you get 90% of the sound quality. Highly recommended.
