I installed 4 of these lamps over the kitchen sink over a month ago. Since there is no window nearby, they are open daily from 6pm to 8pm. Very happy with this purchase. I didn't try to black out them. * Update from 10/26/2021 After exactly 6 months, 2 faded to a very weak light output, then a month later the third faded. I contacted the seller, they say there is a 24 month guarantee. I received a very quick reply asking if I would be happy with a full refund. I used this refund to purchase the same product again. I don't know how well these replacement bulbs work but I am very happy with their customer service.
