Review on Melitta SENZ V Pour-Over Coffee System: Manual Coffee Maker with Cordless Design, 12oz Capacity by Kayla Walton

The MELITTA SENZ V POTENT COFFEE SYSTEM has four sensors and a coffee/spirit level for precise preparation. It's complicated for basic coffee making in my opinion and inconsistent in my experience. Minimum instructions are included in the system. No water/coffee measurements are provided or suggested. The documentation says it will make two cups of coffee. There are no measurement marks on the supplied decanter. For our test we used 8 oz. Water and a measuring cup of Burr Grinder coffee. Following the instructions exactly, getting the response from the front panel display as indicated, the entire first portion of water flowed through without hesitation. Gave bad results. Using the same base and process, there was some lag and the result was a darker brew. The instructions indicate that you need to pour hot water (without a specific temperature), after which brewing will occur. We could not see any brewing process.
