Pros: The transparent case looks solid and makes it look like an iPad, All holes fit the iPad Pro 9.7 well, Strategically placed vents Cons: The volume buttons are a bit hard to press Because they're recessed (it would be nice to have plastic buttons similar to the power buttons), the top and bottom are thinner plastic and a bit flimsy, the lid doesn't sit flush (corners stick out from the iPad). Protect my iPad from falls and scratches. Update: Two months later, using the case to turn on or turn off the iPad is not stable. I've often found that my iPad's screen is still on even after closing the lid or randomly when I open my backpack; and the iPad rarely wakes up when the lid is opened. I gave it two stars anyway because it seems that the transparent case protects the iPad from small drops. So if you don't need useful coverage and auto-sleep/wake, but just need a back protector, this piece still works. Since I don't want to press buttons to turn my iPad on and off, I had to buy a different case and cover.
