Let me start by saying that I had a lot of leashes as we have 7 dogs and I had a home rescue service as well as a board so I literally had 400 dogs in care and I have tried all types of leashes . , collar and harness conceivable. These glide lines appear to be of high quality! They just arrived so I'll be updating them in a few months but so far I'm impressed. The metal tab that you can move allows you to size this leash for your dog where things can get tight but it cannot choke him or damage his windpipe which is a very important feature that I have never seen before have. It has the usual slip tab to prevent the leash from hanging too much around the neck where the dog could pull away. The handle is soft and comfortable, and the large leashes come with a feed bag dispenser and a metal o-ring right on the arm to connect the bag dispenser, which is nice too. These lines are well designed and executed, good value for money. Some of the other glide leashes we've used are too soft and flex on their own when trying to catch a dog, or too stiff and don't allow the leash to work properly. They appear to be the perfect medium, rigid enough for a lasso but flexible enough for proper movement. I believe that all dog owners, including those who keep dogs indoors, should have leashes in case of emergencies. We woke up in the middle of the night because of the fire. When you have literally minutes to get out of the house, you don't have time to fiddle with clasps and hooks on panicked dogs. Also, a dog that usually behaves perfectly on a leash can get so frustrated and excited that he pulls the collar, which he has never done before. Our dogs are naked indoors so this is a necessary time saver. These leashes are the quickest and safest way to protect your dog in an emergency.
