For over 20 years I have been making my own dog food at home, grinding meat and bones in a 2 HP meat grinder. My vet advised me to remove the raw bones from the food and only offer chopped offal and lean meat. So I switched to a much smaller coffee grinder. This is my choice and I'm glad I made my choice. This is a great little grinder. I make small batches now and it's that good and grinds the meat up pretty quickly for its size. All parts fit well, so the car is well finished. And even better, it's easy to clean. A bit noisy for the size, but I can live with that. I am completely satisfied with my purchase.
