I woke up regularly throughout the night because I was cold and the blanket I put over the blanket only covered part of my body (or it was thrown onto my side while I was sleeping ). I would use a heater to warm up the room. With this blanket you won't wake up from the cold anymore. It's thin but incredibly warm. I have a Twin XL mattress and it has really good coverage top to bottom and side to side. It's also a very pretty color. My only complaint is that after a gentle wash it has lost some of its softness on the bottom and picks up pet hair in a way you won't believe. I expected that, so I'm not really complaining.
