Everything is fine. As stated in the description, tools are NOT included. Don't be discouraged that they are not included as they can be seen in the photos. However, there was one detail that wasn't in the description that had a major impact on how I can use it. The minimum material thickness is larger than expected. If they were intended for working with leather or denim seams, they would be fine. Unfortunately I didn't buy it for that. They would be the perfect starch for my needs. I was planning on adding them to the duvet and covering the sides to help the duvet stay in place better, but the layers aren't thick enough for these snaps. However, for leather or denim I don't think they are strong enough to work. The end button and female socket are fine, but the jamb and male latch are comparatively weak. Metal flanges are thin and not reinforced. I've added an image of them connected together so others can see how to install them. I had a hard time testing this before using them. I like their design and overall look, but I probably won't buy them again.
