We got this to put in our "ditch bag" on our boat. Since it's so small, we were impressed with how many features it had. We were able to tune into the weather channel straight away and got a signal for both AM and FM radio stations. We liked that it can be charged with solar, crank or battery. The alarm clock isn't the best, I don't find it very useful, but other than that we're generally very happy with it. It works cheaper than these devices usually cost, but in an emergency when we need it it will be very handy.
