I bought this knife thinking I'd sharpen it myself. If you've never sharpened a blade before, it's not easy. The essence of sharpening is to run the blade over the stone again and again at the same angle as before. As soon as you change the angle, the blade you just created may become dull. Remember that razor sharpness is very, very, very sharp.
