This handy little trolley is just what I was looking for to store the top of my appliances and the first few shelves of my wall cabinets. I needed a footstool to get to these shelves because I could reach the equipment. Measurements were paramount to me. I took a risk as the inside dimensions of the shelves were not given. The depth (to fit between the fixtures) is 8 inches as listed. • The shelf has an internal depth of 7 inches to accommodate gallon jugs. • Interior height between shelves is 12 inches, but you must tilt the bottle to get in and out. never mind The width is 26 inches as advertised and is the widest I've found. I would have liked at least as much storage space. Height 31 as indicated. I wanted my laundry detergent to be on the top shelf, but I didn't want it to go beyond the appliances, mostly for aesthetic reasons; However, it is also possible to place a shelf or panel above the equipment and trolley to provide a convenient place to store things. I installed the first shelf and loosely tightened the screws. I did the same with the second and third shelves. I then went back and repeated 4 times until I decided the screws were secure. The wheels ran smoothly. I shot it and decided it was gorgeous. So I tightened a few more laps. Then I rolled it around with stuff on it. Still seemed shaky, so I unloaded the cart and clamped it down a little more. Aha! Did! I think it's important to remember here that the bolts are NOT fully tightened individually. Pull everything together for optimal stability. Looks good, the ends are not open. Also, the shelves are strong so nothing can fall through the shelves. Heavier materials are on the bottom shelf, except detergent. I use the top shelf the most. My stand is in the garage.
