I live in an area with hot and humid summers so I'm trying to find easy ways to style my hair for work and play that make my hair beautiful. I have shoulder length thin hair so I can't do big beautiful ponytails, thick braids or fancy hairstyles so I prefer messy buns but a simple messy bun with my side bangs won't work. create enough volume and my bangs tend to get wavy and frizzy in the heat. Headbands without a clasp don't stay on the head, but I love the look of cloth headbands with bows or knots, so this headband was the perfect way to create that look. The colors are beautiful and very versatile - I have colors for every season - and the material isn't too casual or too dressy. They stay on my head and allow me to style my bangs but also pull them back and out of my face. The height of the headband looks nice when worn and goes well with the high messy bun (haven't tried wearing it down yet). My only complaint is that they can squeeze my ears a bit, but that happens to me with most headbands. Overall they are cute, affordable and I get compliments from co-workers and friends every day when I wear them which makes me feel great.
