The arm on the mirror is quite long, but if someone with long arms uses it, they can sometimes appreciate the extra elbow room. Some reviewers say the side of the mirror is blurry when magnified. You should be able to adjust how close or far your face is from the mirror. For this reason, I recommend that you wall mount it along the "outer" edge of the vanity, rather than along the back.4. Hold a mirror and look in it to see what height suits you best, then mark it on the wall. There are two tiny "installation screws" on the sides of the round plate. Unscrew them to remove the "mounting plate". Move the mounting plate to the marks on the wall and mark two screw holes.6. Lift the screw out of the anchor. Choose a drill bit that is about the size of the screw shank but smaller than the screw threads. Drill a hole in the drywall. (If you hit a wall stud, you don't need a drywall anchor, just use a wood screw). After drilling the hole, use a hand screwdriver to screw the anchor into the wall.7. Place the transom mounting plate on the installed anchors, line up the holes and add the screws. Then place the mirror on the mounting plate and install the set screws removed earlier. FINAL NOTICE. Some reviewers complained that the 15x magnifying mirror was in the wrong place (top or bottom). If you want it lower or higher, just turn the mirror upside down, then flip it left to right and you're done. It has moved up or down.
