Review on 🎨 Prang Half Pan Watercolor Paint Set: Refillable, 16 Assorted Colors with Brush and Lid (01600) by Kelsey Brown

When I first ordered the Prang set the picture was of a black metal box. That's why I ordered it. I can buy regular Prang watercolors in a plastic container in the city where I live for less (no shipping!). I see that they changed the picture. I kept this set because it has square removable paint containers and I was happy with it. For student color, I find Prang colors excellent. Excellent light pigment. A good kit for watercolor beginners. The brush is sufficient, with animal hair and a tip for fine lines. If you have a child who loves to draw, I recommend this set. This is enough to practice and learn how to mix colors. This would be a good kit for sketching nature - the pigment is light enough to get the job done and the kit is inexpensive enough that you won't be absolutely heartbroken if it gets lost. You can also take the pots out and put them in a smaller container like an Altoids can and refill them with better paint when they run out, so it's pretty versatile.
