Review on Top Quality Grain-Free Salmon Dog Food with Fruits & Vegetables: Made in the USA [Natural Dry Food for Dogs of All Breeds and Sizes] by Erica Hosey

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good quality Qibla. Separate decision. A dog liked it. A dog doesn't.

I have two dogs and one of them has not been a fan of dog fish food in the past. This still holds true for this brand of salmon-based pellets. At first she didn't want to eat it, but after a while she let it sit. I ended up having to mix in some other foods to get her to eat this. My other, less picky dog ate it without any prompting. It contains no grains and uses a variety of legumes to produce protein. I stopped feeding both of my dogs grain-free a while back when it became known that some dogs were having health issues after switching to a grain-free diet. Everything I've read at least mentions the possibility that legume proliferation could be a potential problem. I haven't seen anything specific yet. My dogs used to eat grain free food well so I switched back to it. I mixed this grain free food with Best Breed Salmon with her fruits and veggies. The small kibble works well for my 40 lb dogs. The food definitely feels high quality and not crumbly or powdery like some other brands. The crumb will look shiny or oily, which I think is a good thing. Dogs are good at eating. I went to the company's website and was amazed at how they talk about all aspects of food and why they use certain ingredients, croquette size, packaging, etc.
